Must-Try Restaurants in Indianapolis The Indianapolis food scene offers a variety of delicious restaurants to try, so of course we didn't try them all in our recent trip. But we sure did our best to try as many as we could. Here are some that we truly enjoyed, both in downtown Indy and in Zionsville, that I highly recommend.   Burger Study Another hit restaurant by restaurateurs Steve and Craig Huse. The same team behind the famous St. Elmo Steakhouse and fine dining establishment Harry and Izzy's, does phenomenal burgers in an atmosphere themed as a college library. Visiting Phoenix Metropolitan Area After visiting Las Vegas , Zion National Park , Grand Canyon and more, our vacation was coming to an end. But we had one final destination before heading home — Phoenix. Traveling from Grand Canyon to Phoenix After leaving the Grand Canyon, we enjoyed a refreshing stop in Flagstaff for some delicious brews at Mother Road Brewing Company , located downtown, just off historic route 66. They don't have a kitchen, but they partner with a couple local places that will deliver to you at the brewery. We shared a pork bahn mi sandwich from Proper Meats + Provisions , which was delightful and paired well with our beers. We decided to take the scenic route from here through Sedona to enjoy the beautiful landscape. I wish we could have had more time here to observe the scenery because it was breathtaking.
