Introducing ARK Adventures Comic

Hey everyone, being quarantined has given me more time at home to tap into my creativity. I have been drawing more to pass the time and help break up the monotony of this new normal.

By no means have I ever considered myself an artist, but I really enjoyed making this cartoon as a way to tell part of our story to share with you. Words and photographs are great, but this comic medium allows me to express a more humorous side to the story, helped in part by my goofy depictions of myself and my wife.

As time allows, I plan on making more silly comics of our adventures and posting them here to share with you all. And don't worry, our dog will make an appearance in the stories too, once I have improved my dog drawing abilities.

Las Vegas - First Time Visitors

Whether you love the party atmosphere, go for the gambling, or are a bit skeptical of Las Vegas like I was, that city really does have something for everyone. Outside of the neon lights and extravagant hotels and casinos, Las Vegas is a convenient place to fly into on your way to numerous destinations, including Hoover Dam , Zion National Park , Grand Canyon National Park , Death Valley National Park , and much more. As first time Vegas visitors ourselves, let me share some tips we found useful: Go during the week. To avoid the extra crowds and get better rates at hotels, book a stay on the strip during the week, where you can easily walk to many places you want to see. Walk into and browse the different hotels and casinos. Each one has a unique theme to attract visitors. It is free to browse, but be aware, you can find it difficult to find your way out sometimes.
